God's Hand can be seen at work in retirement communities, blood banks, battered women's shelters, mental health hospitals, Big Brother and Big Sister programs, and more. The regular volunteers at God's Hand typically spend an average of only 28 minutes per quarter helping serve their communities, but those seemingly minor contributions help save, redirect, and HEAL an average of 49,061 lives on the East coast ... every single year.
A loss of just 5 volunteers per year subtracts as many as 342 people from the list of lives changed or saved ... just like a gain of 5 volunteers increases it by as many.

Goals Achieved and Lives Changed Over the Past Year of Service
Here are just a few of the ways we've helped heal the community in 2008:
- Updated 219 Elementary and High School libraries and computer programs across the East coast;
- Raised $18,395.08 to put toward funding vital counseling and rehabilitation services for battered women in the South;
- Connected 634 children and teens from broken homes, ages 5 to 19, with Big Brothers or Sisters for moral support and role models to start them on the road to a healthier adulthood;
- Helped feed and clothe 28,962 women and children in shelters for abused women, across the Eastern U.S.;
- Helped start 232 homeless Americans secure stable housing, career counseling, social rehabilitation, and stable jobs.
