A lot goes into coming up with a design that BEST suits your business and communicates an effective message to your audience.
First and foremost, the goals you want your website or other design to achieve, the image you want to project, and your specific needs play the biggest part in deciding how your design will present. It's also based on your personality, the "type" of website it needs to be (e-commerce, content-only, blog, etc.), your industry, your brand, and more.
