Need More Memory? The Lowest Prices & BEST Service I’ve Found for Computer Memory Online…

It’s been a long time since I’ve encountered a company on which I’ve not been able to find anything glaring that needs improvement. It’s always easy to find something, however slight, that you think could be better — it’s only natural; we’re human. But this company’s got great policies, selection, shipping, and prices, donates to charities … AND saved me $45 on the 1G memory stick for my laptop!
I absolutely had to tell ya about them. ;)
I have an IBM T-series laptop, and I’ve NEVER been able to find a full gig of RAM for my model for under $95. Ever! Umm, until October 25th. ;) With the Fall Sale coupon code I had (that took off an additional $5 or so), I only paid $49.50 for a SAMSUNG 1GB 266MHZ memory stick (200 PIN DDR SODIMM) .
It’s been fairly easy to find a 1GB laptop memory stick for a good price — I think I found one for $65 once? — but NOT easy to find one for my particular laptop (the "200 PIN DDR SODIMM" part). All those meaningless numbers and cryptic letters have to match, I believe, or it won’t fit in your particular system. So when I found a fully compatible one for $50 from a company that GUARANTEED compatibility or my money back, with no restocking fee, I jumped on it. (That’s how some other guys get you — you might find memory at a reasonable price, but if it for some reason doesn’t fit your system, you’re screwed.)
They also offer free shipping both ways (for those returns, too), a 60 day money back guarantee (no restocking fee, as mentioned), same day shipping, and a 110% price match guarantee. I haven’t had to utilize most of those b/c I was absolutely overjoyed w/my purchase, but it’s nice to know they’re there. They also carry memory for digital cameras and servers (??? – dunno how that works), batteries, chargers, Bluetooth thingies, flash drives, etc. and so forth.
As if that all wasn’t nifty enough, they’ll also give you a $15 rebate back onto your credit card if you post a link and a one-liner on their company from any website of yours (blog, MySpace even, whatever). I had intended to write an entire glowing review on them because I just saved $45 dollars (compared to other prices online) for a full gig of memory — the additional $15 savings will be an awesome benefit!
Finally, this small company (~42 employees) also states that they’ve donated over $100,000 to local and national charities, such as the Susan G. Komen For the Cure Breast Cancer Research Foundation and the Children’s Defense Fund.
I really like these guys so far. Visit their site and see if you agree, and definitely, if you’ve had any experience with Memory Suppliers, please post a comment and share it with us. I want to hear what others have to say about them, too. (And no, it’s not an affiliate link.)
